The processes leave behind a unique sub-surface environment which is perfect for CO2 sequestration via low pressure injection. H1's gasification process, developed by experts with deep experience in the world-ranking shale oil deposit in the Mountain West's Green River Basin, yields charred geological pores that remain underground and provide an incredibly high-surface-area environment for low-pressure, high-volume CO2 geo-sequestration to occur by adsorption.
